Miroslawa Ziemska (Julia Krynke) is rushed to hospital with a serious condition. In danger of losing a leg to a blood clot, it is only her doctor Alicja’s (Magdalena Rozczka) quick-thinking that saves her life. At the same time, she has an even greater challenge to surmount. She must reveal the dark truth of her respected father – a truth that will shake everyone to the core. ‘Lekarze’ will be aired on Monday 6th May in Poland on TVN at 9.30 p.m.

Julia has just finished shooting ‘Flight’, written and directed by Gillian Pachter. ‘Flight’ is a short comedy-drama about two lonely people who are stuck in an airport car park. Frank’s a toll booth operator, losing his grip on a world that is becoming automated. To make matters worse, his wife’s on a round-the-world trip and it does not look like she is coming back. Lule is visiting the airport for a sad anniversary; she is not going anywhere either. Frank and Lule feel at the end of the line. But when their paths cross, both take an unexpected detour.

‘Tatort Münster: Das Wunder von Wolbeck’ by Matthias Tiefenbacher will be aired on Sunday 25th November in Germany on ARD at 8.15 p.m., in Switzerland on SF1 at 8.05p.m. and in Austria on ORF2 at 8.15 p.m. To read more, click here.

Julia is currently shooting the role of Mira Ziemska in the Polish drama series ‘Lekarze’, directed by Filip Zylber and Marcin Wrona.

Julia has just finished filming ‘Lessons in Lifesaving’ by Nick Cohen, a story of a young girl who saves the life of a mysterious and beautiful French champion swimmer she has developed a school girl crush on during her lifesaving lessons at the local public pool. The two strike up an unlikely friendship and inadvertently ‘save’ each other whilst pursuing their own personal challenges.
